Dr. Kojo Columbus Concert reviews
Bad sound engineering in Moody Center
We attended the concert at the Moody Center this past weekend with Dr. Kojo and it was quite an unusual experience. The sound was off, making it difficult to hear Dr. Kojo at certain points. Moreover, he chose to remix most of his songs, even the familiar ones, leading to confusion and a lack of engagement from the audience. The performance felt disconnected from the audience, with the drummer being excessively loud. Dr. Kojo's music took on a reggae-like quality, straying from his usual style. As a professional musician myself, I value live performances and skilled artists, understanding the effort it requires. Unfortunately, we decided to leave the concert early, as the atmosphere did not improve. It was disappointing.
